Do’s and Don’ts during Alaska Cruise Travel

Cruising around Alaska may sound exciting but there are rules and regulations to follow.  This is to ensure safety and satisfaction among its passengers and guests.  Here are the do’s and don’ts during Alaska Travel Cruises.

  1. Don’t bring any illegal drugs during the cruise.  If you’ll attempt to bring any small portion of it, just be ready to face legal issues which can turn your vacation into a disaster.
  2. Don’t create troubles in the ship by harassing fellow guests.  Remember, you’re in the Alaska Cruise to enjoy and gain friends, not to meet enemies.
  3. Hide your cash in your wallet or secured pouches.  Never show it off especially if it’s a huge amount.  Showing off big cash would tempt others to steal it or worse inflict physical injuries on you.  Paying through credit/debit cards is advisable.
  4. Alaska is famous for its wildlife but never attempt to go to the wilds or to the terrains when you’re off-shore. You might be lost especially when you dare to go alone. You may have troubles going back. Ask for a guide to tour you around if you’re really interested to visit the wildlife of Alaska.
  5. Don’t feed the animals in the park or even in the remote areas.  Wait for the guide’s instruction before feeding the animals.  This is for the safety of animals and also for the protection of Alaska’s environment.  We don’t want to leave our trash anywhere in Alaska.  We would rather keep Alaska clean rather than creating pollution.
